Italy's first harmonica festival will be held on May 28-29-30, 2010 in Merate (LC) not far from Milan. Featured performers and teachers are Willi Burger (classical music) and Jens Bunge (jazz).
Wili Burger will be performing “Concerto per Armonica ed Archi” (written for Willi Burger) by Jesus Edurado Alvarez and pieces by Piazzolla and Tchaikovsky on Friday, May 28. He will be accompanied by String orchestra “Capriccio Harmonico Ensemble.” Conducted by Jesus Eduardo Alvarez. Maestro Burger will be teaching a classical chromatic workship May 28 - 30.
Jens Bunge will be performing on Saturday May 29 and teaching a Jazz chromatic workshop on May 28- 30.
Workshop languagages Italian, German, English, and French. A certificate of participation will be given to all the delegates and an award for the best "sound," the best interpretation, and the best original composition for the harmonica will be given.
The event is part of the prestigious musical event "Merate Musica 2010." The concerts are organized by the music school in close collaboration with the Culture Department of Merate.

It’s SPAH convention season again. As usual, we will offer space to vendors. The cost is as follows:
- 10'x10' space with one table & two chairs, $225.00
- 10'x20' space with two tables & three chairs, $325.00
- 10'x30' space with three tables & four chairs, $425
