Harmonica Workshops
SPAH is pleased to support harmonica workshops around the country, and around the globe. These workshops provide the backbone of harmonica education, and SPAH members lead many of them.
Examples include:
Kerrville Folk Festival Harmonica Workshop – For 20 years, Rob Roy Parnell and Michael D’Eath have brought in two more world class teachers to provide incomparable group and 1-1 instruction for intermediate to advanced players. The workshop is held at the renowned Kerrville Folk Festival during the first week of June each year, where students can enjoy the workshop as well as evening concerts from songwriters from around the globe. KFF offers a 10% discount for SPAH Members who register for the workshop.
The 2025 KFF three-day Harmonica Workshop will be held Monday, June 2nd – Wednesday, June 4th. Registration, including 3-day admission to the Festival, is $390 through March 31st, or $465 beginning April 1st. Your registration fee includes three days of admission to the festival and campground (including Sundown Concerts and tent camping), three days of harmonica classes, lunches on class days, and a commemorative t-shirt.
