2026 Convention Registration

Advance Registration to attend the 2026 SPAH Convention in St Louis, MO in person opened on  March 5 2026 and ends on July 31, 2026. After that, you will need to register in person at the Convention:
Come to the Convention Hotel starting Tuesday afternoon (August 11) and you can also register for the Full Convention, or to attend any single day, including the Blues Blowoff, space permitting. The Registration Desk at the Convention Hotel opens at 1:30pm Tuesday for attendees with Advance pre-paid registration, and at 3:30pm for those registering onsite.  The Convention Registration Desk is open Wednesday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm, and Saturday until 2:30pm. Registration for ONLINE viewing only is open May 1st until August 9th (see below).

Here are some important details for you to know about Registering for the 2026 Convention:

  • All membership and advance registration is now on the SPAH website, along with all the amazing content!
    • Registration for Online streaming or later viewing is included in In-person Registration – when you are registered for the full week
    • For SPAH Members:
      • Please SIGN IN to your membership account. (See below if this is your first time signing in since March 19, 2025).
      • One you are SIGNED IN, if you have not already done so for 2026, please renew your membership, then go to the STORE, and select the registration options for you and any guests, and CHECK OUT to purchase your registration.
      • Note that member pricing is only available to you while you are signed in – there are significant discounts offered to SPAH members!
    • Registration for ONLINE viewing only opened May 1st and closes August 9th. During that time, please proceed to the STORE and select the preferred ONLINE product.
    • For non-members and those inactive since 2020, we encourage you to JOIN SPAH on this site (click on SIGN UP on the home page/mobile device menu).
      • SPAH Members receive discounts on Convention registration, on affiliated workshop prices, plus gain access to archived content from past conventions, and all issues of our magazine Harmonica Happenings!  It is excellent value for money, and with your annual membership you will know you are helping SPAH continue to preserve and advance the instrument we all cherish and enjoy.
      • Once you SIGN UP, you can follow the instructions above to login and register for the Convention at Member discounted prices.
      • If you prefer to register for the Convention as a Non-Member, please go straight to the STORE to purchase your tickets
      • Registration for ONLINE viewing only opened on  May 1st and closes August 9th. Proceed to the STORE and select the preferred ONLINE product.
  • Please consider a donation to the SPAH William Rosebush Youth Fund when you register, so SPAH can continue to bring young people to the instrument and to our community. Donations can be made right in the Store, where you will also find Convention tickets to purchase.

Now you are registered, please GET INVOLVED in the Convention

here are a multitude of ways for you become involved in each SPAH Convention, as if attending and enjoying the company of amazing and sharing talent isn’t enough. We highly recommend it! You could:

        • Volunteer to help at the Convention.
          SPAH provides a fair work-trade deal, offering attendance credit at the Convention in exchange for your help
        •  Nominate your favorite players and legends for SPAH Awards
        •  Propose a Seminar topic to present at the Convention
        • Help up remember those SPAH members who have passed
        •  Join us at one of the two organized Breakfasts  
        •  And, take a Tour of San Antonio!

Booking your HOTEL ROOMS

NOTE: The opportunity to book Hotel rooms for the SPAH Discounted rate of $140 (plus tax) for one or two beds per night expires July 21, 2026. Please book your room soon, as rooms for some nights sell out quickly!

Complimentary parking is available for SPAH registered overnight guests in both garage and surface lots.

ADA compliant guest rooms are available. For more information, please contact the hotel directly. Refrigerators are provided in all rooms. Guests needing to change, alter or cancel their reservation must contact the hotel at least 48 hours before 6:00 PM on the arrival date to avoid a penalty, unless the change is caused by bona fide travel delays.

Payment Authorization/Deposit

Individual reservations must be guaranteed for late arrival with a credit card. Upon arrival, guests preferring to use cash to settle their account will be offered a reasonable deposit alternative.

Airport Shuttle and Transportation

Complementary Airport Shuttle daily (including weekends) every 1/2 hour between 6:00 AM and 11:00PM. Hotel: (314) 878-1500. Buses and Taxis are also available for the 8-mile trip.

Smoking Policy

All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy. Smoking is only allowed in the designated outdoor smoking area.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed with a $75 USD non-refundable fee per stay and a signed pet waiver. Contact the hotel for details.

Note to Online viewers: Registration for Online streaming or later viewing is included in In-person Registration – when you are registered for the full week. The SPAH A/V team will stream all music performances live, with recordings available after the event. Seminars will be recorded for viewing a few days later (no streaming). Registration for ONLINE viewing only is open May 1st until August 9th. Proceed to the STORE and select the preferred ONLINE product.

How to access to your (2024 or older) Membership Account for the first time here

  • NOTE: If you already did the steps below for the 2025 Convention, or just to renew your SPAH membership since April 2025, you can simply SIGN IN using your username (usually your email) and the password you created for 2025 – return to the top of this page and follow the simple instructions there.
  • For current and most recent (since 2020) SPAH MEMBERS, the first time you use to this website for your membership or registration, you will need to RESET THE PASSWORD for your account, as indicated in the email we have sent members. (We do not save passwords, for security reasons)
    • To do this on your computer, on the home page click SIGN IN at the top right of the page, then click FORGOT PASSWORD and follow the prompts, using your email address for the username. (On mobile devices, the SIGN IN option is on the menu selected with the three bars, at the top left).
      The password reset email should arrive in a few moments – NOTE: please check your SPAM folder if you do not see the password reset email in your Inbox.
    • Once you have reset your password, please SIGN IN to your account, as usual. You will notice a new “look & feel” for the membership system, along with improvement in many aspects of your user experience.
